Group Balloon Flight

The Experience

Enjoy a Hot air balloon flight with your staff or group over Byron Bay and the breathtaking Hinterland. Your staff and/or clients will be sure to talk about this for years to come.

Soaring majestically over an ever changing terrain stretching out endlessly underneath, you will enjoy a birds eye view of Byron¹s famous headland and beaches, the massive volcanic rim surrounding Mt Warning, and far beyond to the Great Dividing Range. 

The Balloon Flight is set in motion when a new day is about to begin. The flight takes place when the air is stable and the winds are calm, ensuring a tranquil hot air balloon flight. We meet an hour before sunrise and you will be taken to the launch site, which is determined on the morning depending on the wind direction. 

After a short flight briefing, your group are welcome to help with the inflation, or stand back and take photographs. Soon after, the balloon silently takes off and starts drifting with the wind, controlled by the experienced pilot that will give you a brief introduction to how a balloon is controlled and flown. It is fascinating to be a part of all aspects of this ballooning experience and it will make it all the more enjoyable for your group. 

After landing in a farmer's field, relax and enjoy the early morning atmosphere over a complimentary glass of chilled Champagne, and a delicious breakfast at the airfield to celebrate. This is when you can kick back and relax and discuss your adventure with all of your colleagues

A personalized Flight Certificate is given to each member of your group, which rounds off a fabulous morning.

Prices and Details

We can cater for up to groups of 80, this would be spread over 7 balloons. Group rates start at $275 per person and are based on 6 participants and over.

To charter one balloon the cost is $3,575.00, this can have around 13 passengers depending on the total weight. 

For larger groups and/or multiple charters prices can be reduced further.
