The workshop features a wine tasting with a quiz. Form the group into teams, taste the wines, answer our questions and the members of the winning team each wins a bottle of fine wine!

We cover a wide range of topics during the tasting, including:

• Classic Australian grape varieties and wine styles
• How to taste wine - See, Swirl, Sniff and Slurp - Spit or Swallow!
• Storing and serving wines; glassware; common wine faults.
• Wine and health - alcohol levels in wines and recommended drinking levels.
• Food and wine matching.
• Life expectancy of wines - when to drink and when to keep.
• Fine wines for investment

We start with a wine tasting, followed by a really informative wine presentation, and finish with a more thorough wine tasting and quiz, with prizes for the winners. Wine Workshops are a fun, easy way for the attendees to learn more about wine styles and tastes.
