Corporate Drumming Workshop

The Experience

A corporate drumming workshop is a dynamic team building exercise working with communication and co-operation. It is a prooven way to bring staff together and also have fun whilst doing it.

We guarantee that this will be a fun and dynamic event. It will be interactive and all participants will expand their communication and listening skills. We will begin with a short drumming performance, if we can make the event a surprise this is a great way to start. 

We will then do preliminary rhythm work as a warm up such as body-percussion etc (a nice ice breaker). We then teach 3 to 4 drum parts one at a time to the group, once the group has an understanding of these individual parts and can play them confidently we divide the group up into 3 or 4 teams and have each team  play one of these parts. 

Once the rhythm is established and the drum parts are being played together as a whole, we will then introduce call and response using various drum signals and breaks we also create the opportunity for the individual to improvise within the foundation of the rhythm. This part of the workshop is exhilarating and loads of fun.

We can also incorporate a dance component into the workshop if desired. We have professional African dance facilitators that will lead  half the group through simple dance moves while the rest of the group make the music. This is a high light and definitely puts a smile on everyone’s face

Our workshops emphasise the theme of group support, the power of unity and encourage creativity. In the debrief, if desired we will emphasize lessons learned and draw analogies from the workshop that will directly relate to the work environment.

Cost Structures

Minimum charge is $750+GST for groups up to 15 Participants

From 15 to 20 participants $1000+GST
After this increments of $50 per head to 35 participants (1 Facilitator to 2 Facilitators )

From 35 to 50 participants $1750+GST
After this increments of $35 per head to 72 participants (2 Facilitator to 3 Facilitators )

From 72 to 80 participants $2500+GST
After this increments of $25 per head to 100 participants (3 Facilitator to 4 Facilitators )

From 100 to 120 participants $3000+GST (4 Facilitator to 5 Facilitators )

For larger groups rates on request.

We also can do interactive performances with 4 Drummers and 3 dancers for $2400+GST

Please note that events outside Sydney will be subject to travel charges.
