This Corporate Cooking class not only offers a bit of fun but is ideal for team building and bonding. We can offer this to your team and staff in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.As Team building ideas go, cooking in corporate teambuilding programs is becoming a hit. The simple experience of cooking a mouth watering meal together will not only satisfy empty stomachs, it will result in giving you a team that knows how to maximize productivity and their creative output.
Food has always been a universal bridge builder. When your group creates and cooks their own gourmet meal and enjoys the delicious results, they will quickly learn the value of working together, as well as experiencing first-hand what efficiency and cohesive production is all about. And as employers, you all know what smooth production gets you: happy customers, better revenue and a better work environment.
Our team of expert facilitators and the Team cooking experience are fully portable. We can go anywhere you want, so you don't have to find a separate site to accommodate your group.
Because we use only the resources available in most conference facilities, we can work with hotel staff to host your experience appropriately, your group will not need to hunt for a cooking school or available kitchen. We can even create the team building experience in the park or on the harbour foreshores!
However, many groups prefer to come to our kitchen (Sydney & Melbourne). Where We are able to cater for groups of up to 20. For groups of up to 120 we work with a number of venues that are suitable for our cook ups.
Sample Class
1. Introduction (30 min)
- Arrival of team
- Distribution of menu
- Distribution of knives and utensils + safety instruction
- Teams organizing and allocation of responsibilities
- Hygiene instruction
2. Preparation and Cooking (1.5 hours)
- Menu items discussions + recipe distribution for the teams
- Time line discussion
- Team cooking under supervision
3. Dining and Desert (2-2.5 hours)
- Teams enjoy the fruits of their labour and discuss the meal they prepared (3-4 courses)
- Tables are set and the Dinner is served by our staff as in a fine restaurant. Finish with flipping pancakes! Filled with Strawberries, Chocolate and Grand Marnier.
The cuisine is primarily Mediterranean as it is fresh and less time consuming.
